A few months ago I bought some salvaged wood with the thought that I would turn it into a rustic kitchen table. Turns out the wood was cedar from the corral of an old Dairy a couple of miles from our house. A little too soft for a tabletop. When it was torn down as much as possible was recycled so I got a great deal on some heavy stock... hard to come by. After it sat outside for a while it finally dawned on me that it would make some great benches to go around our firepit. So below you can see my latest project.
